Data & Institutions

There are a lot of databases and research studies available online to support your nonprofit mission. Knowing the facts about your community can help you design grant funding proposals and help nonprofit leaders make better decisions. Policy institutions can help support your mission by providing you with critical research. From agriculture to public education, many institutions conduct research on various topics. A lot of this research and data is made accessible online. We have compiled a list of a few resources to help you get started!

Earned Income Tax Credit

The EITC is a credit for people who work for someone else, or are self-employed, or received certain disability payments. To qualify, the amount of income you earned must be less than $53,952. This year, the credit ranges from $2 to $6,660. You have to file a federal tax return to get the EITC even if you owe no tax and are not required to file. The EITC is a boost to help pay your bills, fix up your place or save for a rainy day.

Inland Empire Nonprofit Forum

IECC knows how difficult it is to navigate the world of nonprofits. We believe in making a collective impact on communities through collaboration, leveraging, and resource development. In that spirit, we have created the Inland Empire Nonprofit Forum, a special group on Facebook for Inland Empire nonprofits. We hope that this space is used as a place to share resources, ask questions and inform other nonprofit organizations of activities and opportunities in the IE. Join and start collaborating today!
